Our traditional day camp program consists of five age divisions. As our campers grow, we adapt our program to meet their social, emotional, and recreational needs. At every age, our camp experience is one that is spirited, nurturing, and fun!
K'ton Ton/Parpar: Age 3 – Entering K Camp K’Ton Ton and Parpar are specialized programs for our youngest campers, offering a full camp experience with age-appropriate modifications. We provide flexible scheduling including full-day, half-day, and partial-week options. Please note that all K’Ton Ton and parpar campers must be fully toilet trained. Shalom/Shemesh: Entering 2nd and 3rd Grade Camp’s Shalom and Shemesh encourage independence and growth through the development of social skills, self-esteem, and sportsmanship while creating camp traditions that reflect positive values. |
Nitzan: Entering Grade 1 "Nitzan" means "flower bud" in Hebrew and it’s the perfect place for your child to grow and flourish! Nitzan campers will attend a full week of camp, complete with sports, swimming, and cultural activities. Whether they attended Camp K’ Ton Ton last year or are new to the JCC Day Camp family, we know our Nitzan campers will love what we have in store for them this summer! |
Chalutz/Chaverim: Entering 4th and 5th Grades Camp’s Chalutz and Chaverim strike a healthy balance between structure and creativity, competition and teamwork, organized specialties and open-ended activities which reflect camp traditions. With new experiences and skills, children are given the opportunity to grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. |
Our programs are led by highly experienced staff with degrees in education, social work, and school psychology. Our camp is also staffed by highly trained, energetic, devoted, and child friendly counselors. We maintain low staff to camper ratios to ensure excellent care and attention to each camper.
