Today, we are so connected to our devices and screens, but often find ourselves feeling disconnected from each other and from the world around us. Our camp offers children the opportunity to re-connect by experiencing nature at our picturesque campgrounds, trying new things, and forming friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
We believe in creating an atmosphere in which children can thrive. While we’re having so much fun in the sun, we are also working to build up campers’ self-esteem and foster positive values that they will carry with them beyond their time in camp.
We are proud that our camp is accredited by the American Camping Association, which means we meet the highest standards in providing a safe and nurturing environment.

FUN IS OUR TRADITION!
For over 90 years, JCC Day Camp has been a leader in camping programs on Staten Island. Our camp has become a tradition for so many families.
Parents often tell us that their kids wait all year for camp to begin so they can see their friends again. Many of our counselors also come back year after year to re-experience the magic of camp, which some of them first experienced when they attended JCC Day Camp as children themselves. Our camp has become an intergenerational tradition too, as many of our current campers have parents—and even grandparents—who attended camp!
Whether you are familiar with our programs or this is your first time hearing about us, know that our Day Camp family is always growing and we are so excited to welcome you!
