Full day program

The Camp Chalutz program strikes a healthy balance between structure and creativity, competition and teamwork, organized specialties and open-ended activities which reflect camp tradition. With new experiences and skills, children are given the opportunity to grow, learn and develop at their own pace. Campers swim daily; instructional and free swim are both part of our program. Children participate in structured sports leagues which include skill development, sportsmanship and team participation. Music, nature, drama, arts and crafts, Mad Science and dance programs encourage creativity. Oneg Shabbat and Israeli cultural programs help develop Jewish identity. Weekly trips have included Sesame Place, sporting events, Keansburg Amusement Park and other exciting destinations. Extended trips which return after 4 pm will use air conditioned, restroom equipped coach buses. Children may purchase lunch through our lunch program or they may bring their own which will be refrigerated. Kosher snacks are provided.
