Camp Info

Ages: Teens entering grade 10

8 week program: July 2 – August 24, 2012

(Upon successful completion of program, each CIT will receive a $100 honorarium)

Make a difference in the life of a child. Spend your summer with the JCC getting "on the job" training and experience working with children. As CIT, you will learn basic information on 'kid relating’ skills, child development and how to lead games. CITs also go on great weekly trips to places like Great Adventure, Dorney Park, Seaside Heights and a two day/one night overnight. CITs are required to attend training and orientation sessions prior to and during the camp season. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are eligible for employment at the JCC camp.

*Teens entering grade 10 have an option of attending CIT I or CIT II.
